UltraEdit
    Probably the best windows text editor, very powerfull, recommended (shareware).

Notetab
    NoteTab is a top-rated text and HTML editor for Windows. It is user friendly and feature rich with many innovative productivity tools. Free and pay versions.

AEdiX Suite
    Nice freeware text editor, with syntax highlighting, tabbed interface, htmltidy, undo/redo.

Editpad lite
    Friendly text editor that has all the basic features a text editor needs. It is available free of charge for non-commercial use. Pro version is shareware.
